Also, are you talking about b2b or b2c ecommerce sites, or maybe a site that offers both? Nevertheless, there a lot of ecommerce platforms operating right now, especially in the US and deciding which one is the best, based on all these parameters is a very tough task.
In most cases, the choice is personal, because the best ecommerce sites will be the ones that benefit your online store the most. With all that in mind here are some great ecommerce sites: Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, Walmart, BestBuy, Volusion are among the ones that are considered best.
Most of the ecommerce sites mentioned above are only good enough to help large enterprises because they are very rigid. I have had experience with most of these and, no matter how good they were, there was always something missing.
